Eastern White Pine features pyramidal form as a young tree, and matures with asymmetrical, wide spreading branches. The branches ascend from the center at a 45° angle and have soft, blue-green needles. After 5 to 10 years, 4-8″ cylindrical cones are produced. The cones generally grow in clusters on the top third of the tree. Eastern White Pine is fast growing and easy to transplant. Use as a specimen or accent tree. Great as a screen or hedge. Plant in an area where it has plenty of room to grown. Use as a living Christmas tree.
